Pre-Visit Info
Booking
Our booking window extends 30 days in advance, this means that you will not be able to book any appointments beyond the 30 day limit.
When using online booking please be sure to book the appropriate timing needed for your service. I also suggest you write in the notes what you are hoping to achieve so that I can ensure you booked the right service for you. If you are unsure which service to select, don’t hesitate to reach out to me. Haircuts can not be booked online and you will need to DM me on instagram to request haircut times.
You may receive a time adjustment request back, these adjustments are essential to allow me to see as many guest as I can in a day to accommodate the large demand.
Arriving
We ask that all clients show up within the 10 min window of your appointment, this means no more than 5 mins early or late. Due to a small studio space it runs best if clients are not arriving any earlier because you will be disrupting someone’s appointment time or the stylist much needed silent break to ensure I am always in the right mind frame for you.
(If you have unruly hair we do suggest you arrive with your hair in a manner that we can see how your cut and colour look and what needs to be done. Arriving with hair in a messy bun or lots of dry shampoo can alter the finished result)
During Appointment
Coffee and Baileys will always be available upon request as well offered to you during the downtime in your appointment, such as while your foils are sitting. There is select teas available for you tea lovers as well. However if you prefer specialty drinks from the local coffee shops next door please don’t hesitate to bring your own snacks and drinks as well! Appointments can run long so I encourage you to bring lunch or whatever you need in that time.
If you want to chat , I am all ears! Would you prefer to put headphones in and read a book? I get it! Or do you need to work while you’re here? That is totally understandable, we have wifi available for you! This is your time to do what suits you best!
Payments
Our payment options are Debit (tap or insert), e-transfers or cash. Credit (tap only) is available however we absolutely love and appreciate our clients who avoid credit because it costs the business high transaction rates. We do not allow credit insert payments. If you credit card can not tap at a certain amount then another form of payment will be needed. Be sure to check out the service menu for all of our service prices!
Cancellations
We ask you cancel at least within 3 days notice. Currently we do not have a cancellation fee but we do keep track of cancellations and your account will get flagged if cancellations seem frequent even if they are within the 3 day limit.
If cancellations become a problem a cancellation fee with be introduced but we are proud to say that we have not had to introduce one because FloState clients have a track record of being the most respectful and kind clients!
